This project will improve the 1.1-mile roadway to four lanes with turn lanes from Williams Drive to Sycamore Street.

The City of Georgetown held a public open house Thursday, June 29, at Public Safety Operations and Training Center, 3500 D.B. Wood Road to provide information and answer questions about the Shell Road project.

Design engineers have completed 30-percent design plans for Shell Road. The schematic design (see below) includes vehicle lane configurations and other features such as a multi-use path and drainageways.
