This 2.9-mile project consists of widening SE Inner Loop to a four-lane, divided, minor arterial from Hwy. 29 to Sam Houston Avenue and to a five-lane, undivided, major arterial from Sam Houston Avenue to FM 1460. The project also includes a shared-use path for pedestrians and bicycles on one side.

Design engineers have completed 30-percent design plans for SE Inner Loop. Schematic designs include vehicle lane configurations and other features such as sidewalks, multi-use paths, and drainageways.
